The novice section is for dogs that have completed the beginner class. The beginner section is for dogs that have had no prior obedience work. Class requirements are: The dog must be 9 months old or older. The handier may be an adult or youth, 11 years or older; however, the same individual must work the dog at each class session. Certificate of rabies vaccination must be brought to the first class. Equipment needed includes: a choker chain and a 6 foot leather leash. This 6 session seminar will lead to the certification neces- sary for teen -agers to legally operate water craft in the State of Minnesota. The classes will be taught by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. The registration fee covers the cost of the materials used.
