Just for 5's
(and some 4's, too!)
Is your child going to
kindergarten in the fall of 2004? Just
for 5's prepares children for this
important time in their lives. Children
do not have to be 5 years old to
register for this class. They will explore
a new letter each week, learn about the
calendar, and share with classmates
during show and tell time. Each child
enjoys a turn as the class V.I.P. (very
important person). This class builds
on earlier preschool experiences with
more detailed art projects and longer
group time to help practice listening,
following directions and raising their
hands. This class is 3 days a week, for
two and a half hours. Children
intending to participate in early
entrance testing into kindergarten
(through the school district) may not
attend.
