Meg Tilley As you were informed in previous notices, the City of Eagan is conducting a city -wide
Council Members internal residential and commercial property inspection program aimed at reducing
the amount of stormwater and groundwater entering into the metropolitan sanitary

On October 10, 2011 and October 28, 2011 you have been sent formal notices
regarding this mandatory inspection and /or required corrective work order to avoid
incurring substantial surcharges to your Utility Bill. Our records indicate that you have
either not yet responded to these notices or complied with their related repair
requirements
The inspections and subsequent corrective repairs are necessary to find and eliminate
the sources of these excessive flows as mandated to Eagan by the Metropolitan
Council Environmental Services (MCES)
Inspections and Repairs Are Mandatory
FAILURE TO COMPLY results in substantial fees being added to your Utility Bill
until the property is brought into compliance with City Codes:
$150 /month for Single Family, Duplex, Townhome properties, or
$500 /month for all other properties.
You are receiving this letter to inform you that the surcharge has now been added to
your Utility Billing account and will continue for each succeeding month until the
property is determined to be in compliance with the 1 &1 program requirements
