06/03/1987 - Airport Relations Commission t.'
MEMO TO: CHAIRMAN GUSTIN AND ALL MEMBERS OF THE AIRPORT RELATIONS
COMMITTEE
FROM: JON HOHENSTEIN, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
DATE: JUNE 3, 1987
SUBJECT: NEXT AIRPORT RELATIONS COMMITTEE MEETING
In conversations with Chairman Gustin, it was determined that
there are no pressing matters to come before the committee at
this time. It is believed that the initial meeting on the Eagan -
Mendota Heights Corridor Study and a possible release of the
Runway 4/22 Environmental Impact Statement may occur before the
July meeting and will, therefore, provide business items at that
time. Therefore, please be advised that the next Airport
Relations Committee meeting is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday
evening, July 14, 1987 at 7:00 p.m. Agendas and packets will
precede that meeting.
Attached for your information you will find an article from the
Star and Tribune pertinent to the Airport Adequacy Study and
those encouraging relocation. Mayor Blomquist and Councilmember
Egan are Eagan's official representatives on this group with City
Administrator Hedges and myself as alternate members. A meeting
of this group will likewise occur prior to the July 14 meeting
date.
As always, if you have any concerns or items to bring to the
City's attention before the next meeting, please contact me.
A iniSlt'ative Assistant
