othusiastic to see the proposal as a nature 'center adjacent to school
property, since it is a creative plan with a lot of "class".
Since we have not been able to get definite action or committments from the
City Council or Park Committee this year, we formally request a special
public meeting with the Eagan City Council, Park Committee, Attorney, Engineer,
We would respectfully suggest any weekday evening, the latter part of November

L1is8 Elizabeth Jung has asked me to write a reference letter
for her. This letter 18 for that purpose.
This past June Miss Junn was employed by us for our summer
tumbling and dunce program. The ages of the girls were from kindergarten
to sixth grade level. bliss Dunn was given the responsibility of running
the whole program. ode hired four other girls to work with her. Her
job consisted of making the program and to follow through with it to
completion, which included a recital at the end of six weeks.
Liss .uunn worked up dance roatineb for all ages as well as routines
for all ages in the tumbling. some of the routines for the older girls
were rather intricate. The recital at the end of the six weeks was well
planned and .was exicuted very well.
she was working with approximately I50 girls who registed for the
program. dhen she was working with the girls there was little confusion
and much work being done at each session. The girls learned and worked
very hard for Liss Dunn. r2he seemed to enjoy her program.
This was the first time she had been put in charge of a complete
program and we found her to be efficent and very enthused the more she
was with the girls. some of the girls that were in the program came early
just to be with :.iiss Jurui.
If Liss Jahn would be interested in the job next year it would be
her's. she completed all tasks asked of her and gave a little more than
asked. She seems to work well with girls when it comes to physical exercise.
She not only told the what she wanted them to do but also showed them.
Jincerly Yours,
r`ay Cooper

The metropolitan Council has scheduled a public hearing for
Tuesday, November 26, 1974 for discussion of the proposed
Recreation Open Space Policy Plan. 1VIr. Robert Nethercut,
the Recreation Open Space Program. Manager, has asked if
we would like to discuss the policy plan with him before the
public hearing. With that in mind I am inviting the Associat-
ion to attend a discussion meeting on Wednesday, November
20, 1974 at 8:00 P. M. in the County Government Center on
Highway 55 at Hastings, Minnesota.
The policy plan contains about 85 pages and I only have one
copy. If you want some information before our meeting per-
haps you will call Mr. Nethercut at 227 - -9421 and ask for a
copy of the plan. I hope you can attend this meeting. Many
of your questions regarding regional open space can be an-
swered at this meeting. The policy plan will have some ef-
fect on all of us.
Would you please bring with you the name of the person or
persons you wish to be contacted on your commission. 1
would also appreciate knowing the dates and titnes of your
