Applications for 2015 tax credits were due to the CDA on June 10, 2014. The CDA received an application for an additional allocation of tax credits for the Lakeshore Townhome project in Eagan. The project was awarded its initial request of tax credits September 2013. The Lakeshore Family Housing Limited Partnership will build a 50 -unit new construction workforce housing townhome development located at 1319 Jurdy Road in Eagan. The project includes 3 one -bedroom units, 22 two-bedroom units, and 25 three-bedroom units. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer of 2014. The Dakota County CDA is the general partner and will develop and manage the property. Upon receipt of a tax credit application, the CDA is required to notify the Mayor and staff of the city in which the project is located for review and comment prior to forming a staff recommendation. If you have comments, please forward them to me by July 31, 2014. Once applications have been reviewed, they will be scored based on the Dakota County CDA's Qualified Allocation Plan.
