SUN1 ER IN THE PARK
The Eagan Park and Recreation
Department will conduct an afternoon
recreation program at five parks and two
schools in Eagan. This program is for
children who have completed kindergarten
through age 12.
Each playground location will be
staffed with an adult leader and two
aides. Activities include crafts,'
games, special events and supervised
free play.
Field trips will be arranged for a
small fee; information will be furnished
during the Summer In the Park program.

TUMBLING AND DANCE CLASSES
Classes emphasizing beginning dance steps
and basic tumbling skills will be offered to
children at two locations.
Each class will meet twice a week for 7
weeks. Children ages 5-7 will meet from
1:00 - 2:OOPM; ages 8-12 from 2:00 - 3:30PM.
A fee of $3.00, to be paid at the time of
registration, will be charged. Registrations
will be accepted the first 2 weeks of classes
but will then be closed for the remainder of
the session.
Two special events highlite the summer:
participating in the Eagan 4th of July parade
and the recital that culminates the summer.

TENNIS LESSONS
The Eagan Park and Recreation
Department will offer tennis lessons at 5
court locations. Classes will meet
twice a week for a period of three weeks.
Cost will be $8.00 for six (6) lessons.
Class size is limited. Balls will be
furnished, bring racket and tennis shoes
to class. Make up lessons will be
scheduled by instructor in case of rain.

The Tuesday, Thursday classes scheduled
for Country Home Heights will move to the
new Pilot Knob Courts when they are ready.
GOLF LESSONS
The Eagan Park and Recreation
Department will offer golf lessons for
beginners. Classes will be conducted for
youths and adults. Each class will meet
twice a week for three weeks. Minimum
class size is 10. Class members are to
provide their own clubs. Classes will
initially meet at Northview School, then
move to other locations for work with
drivers and putters. Cost will be $8.00
for six (6) lessons. Additional cost may
be incurred at the driving range.

The teen center in the Rahn Park
Building will be open from 7:00 - 10:OOPM
beginning June 19 on Monday through Thursday
evenings.
Activities will include foosball, ping-
pong, checkers and chess.
Two young adult leaders will be present
to meet the many Eagan area teens who are
welcome to visit the center.
