As a result of that inspection, certain aspects of your sewer service were found to be out of compliance with Section 3.40 of the City Code regarding Inflow & Infiltration (1/1). (A copy of the City Code can be found at www.cityofeggpn.com/inflow) The following issues must be corrected or repaired to comply with City Codes: The sump.pump discharges into the floor drain. If your share of the costs exceeds $200, you may also elect to have that amount financed by the City. An application form will be provided upon request. This will allow the City to provide reimbursement for 100% of the costs incurred. NOTE: before any payment can be processed by the City, a Final Inspection must be completed and a Certificate of Compliance issued. If you fail to make the noted repairs within the required 60 days, a SURCHARGE of $150 PER MONTH WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR UTILITY BILL (Until the repairs are satisfactorily completed) We recognize that this mandatory program is an unexpected inconvenience and expense to you.
