AIRPORT RELATIONS COMMISSION MEETING
MAY 8, 2012
A joint meeting of the Eagan Airport Relations Commission was held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 7:00
p.m. with the Airport Relations Commissions from the cities Mendota Heights and Inver Grove Heights.
Those present from the Eagan ARC were Curtis Aljets, Chuck Thorkildson, Carol Whisnant, Chad
Stambaugh, and Scott Johnson. Steve Beseke and Dan Johnson were absent. Also present was Assistant
City Administrator Miller.
Commissioner Aljets moved, Commissioner Stambaugh seconded a motion to appoint Chuck
Thorkildson as the Chair of the ARC for 2012 -2013. Aye: 5 Nay: 0
Commissioner Whisnant moved, Commissioner Thorkildson seconded a motion to appoint
Commissioner Beseke as the Vice Chair of the ARC for 2012 -2013. Aye: 5 Nay: 0
The three airport relations commissions from each community introduced themselves, spoke to their
2012 -2013 work plans /goals, and discussed ways in which the three bodies could work collaboratively in
the future.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 9 p.m.
