This section describes the requirements of the proposed privacy fence around the SVE system enclosure. PART 2 - PRODUCTS A. Fence Design 1. Batten Wood design as given by Midwest Fence and Manufacturing Company, or approved equal 2. finished height of the fence shall be a minimum of 5 feet from the ground surface. 3. One hinged and latching gate, minimum 3 feet wide, shall be installed on the side of the fence facing the adjacent building. B. Fence Material 1. Wood components shall be cedar or redwood. 2. Exposed hardware such as hinges and latches shall be black in color with a durable finish rated for exterior use PART 3 - EXECUTION 3.01 EXAMINATION A. Examine and verify acceptability and condition of surfaces to perform Work. 3.02 PREPARATION A. Identify required lines, grades, levels, contours, and datum. B. Protect benchmarks, structures, equipment, and partially completed Work. C. Protect, support, and maintain conduits, wires, pipes, and other remaining utilities in accordance with requirements of owners of said services. 3.03 CONSTRUCTION A.
