MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE EAGAN CITY COUNCIL
EAGAN, MINNESOTA
APRIL 22, 1980
A special meeting of the Eagan City Council was held on April 22,
1980 at 7:00 p.m. at the Eagan City Hall. Those present were Mayor Blomquist,
Councilmembers Egan, Smith and Wachter. Absent was City Councilmember Parranto.
Also present was City Administrator Hedges.
DIRECTOR OF PARKS AND RECREATION
One (1) candidate was interviewed for the position of Director of
Parks and Recreation. The candidate was given an interview that lasted appro-
ximately 45 minutes. The remaining four (4) candidates are scheduled for inter-
views on April 23, 1980, and therefore, there was no consideration or action
taken regarding the candidate interviewed for the position of Director of Parks
and Recreation.
VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION DINNER
City Administrator Hedges reported that the date of April 29, 1980
will work for the Volunteer Recognition Dinner and further that all food and
beverages will be catered to the City Hall at a cost of approximately $110 to
the City of Eagan. After further discussion on the matter, upon motion by City
Councilmember Smith, seconded by Councilmember Wachter, with all members voting
in favor, a resolution was adopted setting forth April 29, 1980 as the date
for a Volunteer Recognition Dinner to honor those volunteers who have contri-
buted time to the City and more specifically for their involvement with the
Comprehensive Land Use Plan which is to be the theme for the dinner meeting.

ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion duly made and seconded, the meeting adjourned at 9:00
p.m.
