add bearing under the hand framed rafters and rafter supports where they land on the existing roof sheathing OK TZ - provide a full set of approved plans on site, including change to 16' 1-joists 19.2" OC for roof frame at the master bed room verify that rafter tail extentions are fastened as per the I-joist mfg spec OK TZ -add tie straps across the bottom of each ceiling joist at the center Beam see engineers detail on Page S 1 OK TZ - add blocking in the ceiling frame for a drag strut. see revised engineering detail on page S2 dated 8/26/13 - verify header over the pocket door (dbl 9-1/2" LVL) see revision dated 9/10/13 - (4) 2X4 bearing at the center bearing beam is required by the engineer (see 2/S1) any change ((3) 2X6) must be approved by the engineer - they are adding straping that is different from the approved plans and engineering must bring new plans to Jeff 04/10/14 JTW Phone conversation with Bruce Schwiech - he will drop off revised plans for an addendum this morning and come back for a meeting Tommorrow morning I reminded him that all communication must go through the home owner that is the permit holder any changes that affect the existing engineering will need to be reviewed by the engineer of record he will provide documentation from Moleen, the span crete fabricator 04/10/14 TZ Mech RI 1 they need to install and vent boiler and water heater unit 2 they must show the high pressure forced air unit location in attic and how it will be installed and unit type 05/06/14 JTW - contractor dropped off revised plans at the counter 05/07/14 JTW - contractor came to the counter to discuss plans dropped off, have not been reviewed yet 05/08/14 DS - site visit 05/09/14 JTW there are several discrepancies between the revised plans, the approved plan & the engineering 05/09/14 JTW - under pinning of the walkout wall foundation as per the engineered detail to be provided - fastening of the precast to the foundation as per the precast mfg spec - core fill of existing foundation at 4 locations as per the engineering detail 1/S1 SHEATHING/BRACED WALLS - verify the 7 LF shear wall at the living room, done as per 5/S2 or submit an alt - provide an alt for two 4 LF interior gyp braced wall panels at the pantry powder room, laundry that were altered in the revised plans - adding a required sheetrock inspection for the required fastener pattern of the interior gyp braced wall panels (see S2) FRAMING - see corrections from Mech RI provide a detail for supporting the mech equip in the attic and the required access -
