So for the permit purpose this should be what you need. It won't get bigger. Another option would be to actually measure everything. If they are okay meeting this plan then I will process it as revised and send you an approved copy. Also, just and FYI, we only measure the surface areas within the lot boundaries but in this case I believe we are close enough or under to meet the requirements. The purpose for them, is future access to the house as they get older. My understanding is, the house is designed for main level living, with the exception of the tuck under garage and having to walk up stairs from the garage. If one of them was unable to do the stairs this would allow access to the house. Karl From: Erik Slettedahl Sent: Tuesday, September 20, 2016 10:38 AM To: mailto:karlh@plehal.com Subject: Zoning Permit -4540 Acorn St, Eagan, MN Karl, I reviewed the zoning permit submitted for the subject site and unfortunately, there are limits for impervious surface for this lot due to shoreland zoning restrictions from Hay Lake. The lot is limited to 5,495 sq ft based on the 21,978 sq ft lot ( 25%). From my rough calculations, the 1,350 sq ft of additional surface puts the driveway over about 190 sq ft. The plan either needs to be reduced or more accurate impervious surface calculations need to be provided. Do you have any idea what the purpose of the driveway is for?
