MEMO TO: MAYOR BLOMQUIST
FROM: CITY ADMINISTRATOR HEDGES
DATE: JULY 7, 1981
SUBJECT: RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS FOR 7-7-81 COUNCIL MEETING
As you requested, I am preparing a letter to the City of Burnsville regarding
the relationship of the topography and sanitary sewer flow as it pertains to
River Hills Ninth Addition. I will review this with Tom Colbert and send the
same to Chuck Siggerud with the City of Burnsville.
'AAs a reminder, you might want to mention to Jim Smith that it will be necessary
that he chair the special City Council meeting on July 22, 1981 in your absence.

Page 41, Winkler/Jackson Preliminary Plat -- I spoke with Dale Runkle regarding
°. language concerning zoning of the 55.45 acres. This sentence should have read,
"This 53.45 acres was approved with a maximum density of 5.5 dwelling units
per acre which is equivalent to an R-3 or townhouse use. As he pointed out,
this is a planned unit development and its the density that's designated not
the zoning and it was not his intention to misconstrue zoning instead of
i&ensity.
Page 85 — That should be changed to July 30, 1981 as we discussed regarding
Item H.
Item L. -- I contacted Sandra Masin and she would be interested and willing
to serve if she is appointed by the City Council. She also stated that she
would be willing to resign when Jean Loken comes back if that were to be decided
by the City. I did not even suggest that to Sandra so that was her own idea.
Page 105 -- I was not able to contact the right people at the State to determine
any cost sharing for Wildwood Lane, but this will be pursued.
*.July 15 Waste Management Meeting -- As a reminder to the City Council, this
