This usually includes maximum heating capacity and maximum cooling capacity. Bal Tech's intent is to normally set-up a
system in its maximum capacity, or “full load” condition prior to the TAB process.
2.0 Discussion: System: Ex EF-H7 Report Page: 11
2.1 Existing fan CFM obtained with two hoods at maximum air volume (27" sash height) and the third at minimum.
3.0 Explanation: System: EF-H9 Report Page: 15
3.1 Duct static pressure control setpoint at -0.30 in. w.g.
3.2 Test #1 performed with canopy hoods open in what would appear to be the worst-case scenario. All canopies
were open on the farthest main duct (closest to fume hoods) and canopies open at the end of the other mains.
Duct static pressure at -.30 in. w.g. at the time of "test #1" readings (19 canopies open total)
3.3 Test #2 performed with every other canopy hoods open, 1/2 open per main duct. Duct static pressure at -0.15 in.
