Required Screening and Upkeep. In our Conditional use permit granted on May 5 of 2�D09 by the city we agreed that any ��,I outside storage visible from the public right of way would be screenE�d from view. Furthermore we � agreed that any screening would be kept in good working condition. I Our chosen screening at the time was a black mesh i:hat we thought would be easier to maintain and esthetically pleasing.Over the past 6 years the meshin�g sustained significant wear and was difficult to keep from tearing during wind storms.The mesh on the v�rest facing side of the property has been totally ripped and has been removed.The north side has been repaired but it is an ongoing project to keep it in a condition that meets the spirit of the agreement. We are proposing replacing the mesh fabric on all e�;isting and new fencing with "Bottom Lock" a vinyl inserts for Chain Link Fence.A flyer on the product is attached.This is similar to what the City staff originally recommended and we believe will meei:the required screening provision of our agreement and minimize the ongoing upkeep. Security In both 2013 and 2014 we were the victims of theft c�f significant equipment(Bobcats, trailers and moveable equipment)from our yard. From surveillance video we understand that the individuals gained original access to the yard through one of the open areas in the back(near the fire lane turnaround ) near the drainage ditch)that flows west. Subseque�ntly they cut the lock and left through our main gate. It is our intention to put fencing along the inner portion of that access without changing the drive or Fire access but providing additional blocking of access to the property. /�����, We have experienced our prior neighbors to the dirE�ct west using part of our property (the identified green space) as part of their property.We did plant tr•ees along part of that border to identify the edge of our property.Similarly when the property was placed up for sale it was not clear where the property line was and in an earlier proposal to the city,which we objected to,an area was proposed to be developed.That did not occur and the new owners�iut substantial improvements to the property and have screened their areas that face our property for the most part.We are proposing fencing the outline of our property as we originally intended in our ciriginal cup proposal but did not complete due to cost overruns as identified on the attached drawin�;.
