1) While assembling unit, take time before and after each phase to make sure fort is level. If fort is
not level, assembly will be difficult and improper assembly may result. Extra care must be taken to
insure the fort is square.
2) Tighten bolts securely, tighten nuts on bolts flush to the tube or member, and place caps over
exposed bolts snug to the nut
3) Pay close attention to the ITEMS NEEDED FOR EACH PHASE. They can be a valuable aid when
sorting your wood and hardware. Assembly will be made easier if items are sorted by phase.
4) Pay close attention to make sure you are using the correct hardware in the correct phases. Using
incorrect hardware may result in improper assembly.
5) Whenever a T -nut is used, follow these directions. Place T -nut in pre -drilled hole. Tap in with hamme
Place bolt with washers in the opposite side. Hand tighten to make sure the bolt is in the T -nut.
DO NOT over tighten.
6) Read the steps of each phase thoroughly. The written steps may include important information not
shown in the illustrations.

Yes, it is the walls and roof that make it like a building. Please let me know what you can work out, or if you can relocate
it to a different part of your yard. As I mentioned, only the playhouse part is subject to the setback, so if it is reoriented
and repositioned, the slides, swings and other appendages could still extend into that 30' setback area.

This is unfortunate but we are working with the manufacture to see if there is an option to build this without the
enclosure to the top area of the swing set as we have already purchased this set and received it. If there were no walls
to the top would this set work then? We would place railing instead and that would make it an open top area.

I have reviewed your zoning permit application more fully this morning, and concluded the enclosed
playhouse portion of the structure is an accessory structure similar to a shed or gazebo. In this case,
that means it is subject to a 30' setback from the east property line abutting Weston Hills Place. The
location you have proposed it does not meet this setback.
I have attached a site survey of your property from our files and identified the 30' setback area in
red. The attached site drawing highlights in yellow the acceptable rear yard placement for the
playhouse.

Please note the 30' setback applies only to the playhouse portion of the structure; other features such
as slides, swings, stairs, and climbing walls may be within that 30' setback area, providing a 6' setback
instead (the "safe play zone" based on the product specification sheet).
Please relocate the play structure so the playhouse portion meets the 30' setback from the property line
abutting Weston Hills Drive. Alternatively, a different play structure having just a platform or shade
canopy over the platform area would not be subject to the same 30' setback as the playhouse with walls
and a roof, and could be placed in the southeast corner of the lot as your initial drawing shows.
I will hold your zoning permit application and watch for a revised location plan from you. Please call me
