The current Major Office land use designation also is compatible with RD zoning. The Planned Development specifies the use as general office. The comparable RD zoning also permits research and development laboratories. The proposal indicates the business is 14,000 s.f. office, and 4,000 s.f. research laboratory. Activities will be contained within the building, with no level of noise generation, and no discharge of hazardous waste. From this description, the proposed MD Biosciences use appears to be consistent with the land use and zoning for the property, and is considered a permitted use within this Planned Development. As discussed, we are looking forward to making Eagan our new home for our business. We are currently looking at a building with approx 18000 sqf located at 1335 Corporate Center Curve. We estimate that of the 18000 sqf building, we will use approximately 14000 sqf as offices and have a small laboratory of approx 4000sqf. MD Biosciences has been active in Saint Paul, MN since 2003. Our company was established in 1991 and has enjoyed a long and successful growth to date. We are providing products and services for healthcare research and development. Examples of our work include the analysis of small volumes of samples using automated equipment or assisting larger pharmaceutical companies with their development of new products. Our clients include Medtronic and similar companies. As a business, we discharge no hazardous material. Any such materials would be collected by dedicated companies (we use Stericycle) for disposal.
