Total ventilation —The mechanical ventilation system shall provide sufficient outdoor air to equal the total ventilation rate average, for each one-hour period according to the above table or equation. For heat recovery ventilators (HRV) and energy recovery ventila- tors (ERV) the average hourly ventilation capacity must be determined in consideration of any reduction of exhaust or out outdoor air intake, or both, for defrost or other equipment cycling. Continuous ventilation - A minimum of 50 percent of the total ventilation rate, but not less than 40 cfm, shall be provided, on a con- tinuous rate average for each one-hour period. The portion of the mechanical ventilation system intended to be continuous may have automatic cycling controls providing the average flow rate for each hour is met. Box 243 Lakeville, MN 55044 Dear Mr. Hodges: (by e-mail only) Re: Site Observation, Anchor Diamond Pro Segmental Retaining Wall, Stone Run, Eagan, Minnesota As you requested, Gray Engineering, LLC (Gray Engineering) has performed site visit after the construction of the fully constructed segmental retaining wall at the referenced site. Background Information Gray Engineering prepared several final design and construction drawings for the retaining wall on this project. The plans and specifications prepared are title "Proposed Segmental Retaining Walls, Stone Run, Eagan, Minnesota". The project numbers for the plans are GE 15-119. The wall was constructed in the summer of 2015. Site Observations Gray Engineering performed a site observation after the construction of the segmental retaining wall on September 30, 2015. Gray Engineering observed the following: 1) The walls had positive batter. 2) The top of the wall units appeared to be level. 3) The faces of the segmental wall units were dry. 4) There was no obvious cracking of any of the segmental wall units. 5) Reinforcement geogrid was placed in the retaining wall. 6) Drainage outlets were placed at the ground surface at the bottom of the retaining wall. However since we were not onsite during construction of the segmental retaining walls, we cannot comment on the construction techniques used to build the segmental retaining walls. The retaining walls as built meet the approval of Gray Engineering, LLC.
