Next we-will roll top edges of the area where walls where removed to prevent erosion. Then we plan on dropping 2cottonwood and use ' one of them in a trench as silt control. If the zoning permit is otherwise okay, I will make note that he call Dave to arrange for a site visit to check on the erosion control and verify the retaining wall height. I didn't have a tape measure on me when I was out there yesterday but Eric and I estimated this height would need to be somewhere around 4 ft. +/-. Please review and let me know if we can approve the Zoning Permit, if you need any more information, or will require any site visits. Aaron, I will have you sign off on the ZP if Eric and Dave okay it. They are removing existing retaining walls on the property, replacing one of them near the house,and regrading the other areas and reseeding. He told me the retaining wall is only about 2' ht., so not tall enough to require Building Permit. The plans indicate removal of 2 cottonwood trees. I provided the aerial with contours from MAPIt, and he indicated the areas of work on the aerial,which shows the extent of site disturbance at approximately the 868 contour, and set back more than 50'from the OHWL. On the aerial image, I measured —50 feet back from the—842 contour to show where the 50' setback falls on the property. They also provided a Site Plan drawn on the plat of the property,the scale is approx. 1" = 50'.
