Some people think the property line goes to the curb but it is usually a good distance away, and in this case it's about 20' back from the curb and approximately 5' from the trail. Additionally, our public works staff likes some clearance between the trail and fences for snow clearance so the more the better. I will make note on the original permit. I was curious if I would run into any issues with the attached permit with my desire to move the fence 10 feet closer to the property line on the side of the house. It will still be a few feet in from the line as I just had a boundary survey completed.
