But the roots of that military technology go back more than 70 years to World War II. That's the subject of Dr. Harold C. Deutsch World War II roundtable at Historic Fort Snelling. "Birth of the New Age of War: Atomic Bombs and Rockets," a look at the development of the atomic bomb in the United States and rocket testing by German engineers, will be discussed by Jim Eckles, author of "Trinity" and "Pocket Full of Rockets."
