AIRPORT RELATIONS COMMISSION MEETING
MAY 8, 2013
A special meeting of the Eagan Airport Relations Commission was held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at
7:00 p.m. Those present were Curtis Aljets, Steve Beseke, Charles Thorkildson, Dan Johnson, Carol
Whisnant, Scott Johnson, Chad Stambaugh, and Assistant City Administrator Miller.
Also present were ARC Commission Members of Mendota Heights and Inver Grove Heights. Justin
Miller, City Administrator of Mendota Heights, was also present, along with Jenelle Teppen, Assistant
City Administrator of Inver Grove Heights.
AGENDA
Aljets moved, Whisnant seconded a motion to approve the agenda as presented. All members voted in
favor.
ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS
Commissioner Aljets moved, Commissioner Whisnant seconded a motion to reappoint Chuck
Thorkildson as the Chair of the ARC for 2013-2014. Aye: 7 Nay: 0
Commissioner Aljets moved, Commissioner Whisnant seconded a motion to reappoint Commissioner
Beseke as the Vice Chair of the ARC for 2013-2014. Aye: 7 Nay: 0
VISITORS TO BE HEARD
There were no visitors to be heard.
NEW BUSINESS
JOINT MEETING WITH THE AIRPORT RELATIONS FROM
MENDOTA HEIGHTS AND INVER GROVE HEIGHTS
Dennis Probst, Executive Vice President of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, provided a
presentation to the commissions. The three commissions discussed the presentation, operations at
MSP, and future plans for use of area navigation technology.
ADJOURNMENT
Upon motion by Whisnant, seconded by Aljets, the meeting adjourned at 8:45 p.m. All members voted
in favor.
