AIRPORT RELATIONS COMMISSION MEETING
MARCH 11, 2014
A meeting of the Eagan Airport Relations Commission was held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.
at the Farmington FAA Control Center. Those present were Curtis Aljets, Charles Thorkildson, Carol
Whisnant, Chad Stambaugh, Steve Beseke and Assistant City Administrator Miller. Scott Johnson and
Dan Johnson was absent.
TOUR
Staff from the FAA led the Commission on a tour of the FAA Control Center.
STAFF UPDATES
FAA DECISION NOT TO PURSUE USE OF RNAV FLIGHT TRACKS
Assistant City Administrator Miller gave a brief update on the FAA’s decision not to pursue a partial
implementation of RNAV at MSP Airport. Miller noted that RNAV would be used for arrival operations.
ARC MEETING PLANS FOR MAY AND JULY 2014
The Commission discussed the Airport Relations Commission work plan and suggested the open house
be scheduled in September 2014.

There was no other business to be heard.
