We are in receipt of your zoning permit application to widen the driveway at 4601 Fairway Hills Drive. Please see the
attached redline site survey identifying relevant information and parameters for driveway expansion.
In particular, please note the following:
• The maximum 22 foot driveway width applies at the property line, and from there to the street curb. The
distance from the back of the street ;,urb to the property line is about 12.5 feet.
• The property owner/contractor is responsible for verifying the location of the property line. The garage is about
10-11 feet from the side property line, and the driveway is proposed to be expanded by 10 feet. It is your
responsibility to ensure the driveway remains within the property boundaries.
• As proposed, the driveway will encroach into the 5 foot drainage and utility easement along the side lot
line. Please ensure the pavement slopes into the property and not toward the adjacent neighbor's lot.
• We are looking into the appropriate contact in Public Works for you to request relocation of the street speed
limit sign and will provide that information on the Zoning Permit once we have a revised Site Plan that is
acceptable.
• Please use the attached clean Site Plan to resubmit with a modified driveway layout taking the above
parameters into account.
