04/12/2005 - Operations Committee (2)wl AGENDA EAGAN COMMUNITY CENTER SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 2005 4:00 P.M. CONFERENCE ROOMS 2A & 2B I: AGENDA ADOPTION H. REVIEW COMMUNITY CENTER POLICIES III. OTHER BUSINESS IV. ADJOURNMENT City of Eap ma TO: CITY COUNCIL COMMUNITY CENTER SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBERS MAYOR GEAGAN AND COUNCILMEMBER CARLSON FROM: CITY ADMINISTRATOR HEDGES DATE: APRIL 8,2005 SUBJECT: PROPOSED COMMUNITY CENTER SUBCOMMITTEE MEETING FOR TUESDAY, APRIL 12 I took the liberty to schedule a Committee meeting for the Community Center Subcommittee on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. and, while Mayor Geagan is able meet the schedule, we were unable to reach Councilmember Carlson who is out of town this week and with due respect for Peggy's schedule if there is a conflict for Tuesday at 4:00, this meeting can be rescheduled to a later date. The purpose of the meeting is to follow-up on those policies. that have either been questioned by the public or by our staff, Sandy Breuer or Cherryl Mesko, that need direction and attention by the City Council. There are seven (7) policies to be considered by the subcommittee and for a copy of that document, refer to the attachment on pages gSt__ through S-. Each of the policies has been identified with a list of options, advantages, concerns and a place for the subcommittee to make its own comments and suggestions as to if and when the policy should be changed. Peggy, I certainly have never made a habit of scheduling meetings without confirming with City Councilmembers, but I know the Council was anxious to move on these policies. I took the liberty and went ahead and scheduled the meeting, but if the time and date doesn't work, please let me know and we can reschedule. Thomas L.
