SPECIAL MEETING: MEET THE INTERN
Attendance: Mary Ellen Voracek, Millie Gignac, and Ray Wade. Also present were Intern,
Alicia Seewald and Communication Coordinator, Joanna Foote.
Summary: Seewald discussed new Registration/Collection Manual and would like for it to be
reviewed and adopted at the next regular meeting; also discussed new worksheets
which will make organization and record keeping easier and more unified.
Seewald also proposed the idea of a Virtual History Museum to the group, using the
Waseca Virtual Museum as an example. This media would allow for the Society to
display its collection even though it lacks the space/resources to do so.
Seewald also discussed some new rules being put into place for the history work
space. Signs will be posted in the area. Please respect these rules, as they are put into
place to help preserve the collection.
