Since E-TV is City’s community television operation and a part of the Communications department (as is Foote) it was determined that E-TV staff can produce a 15 minute video for play on its channels (play could be limited through negation with E-TV staff if desired). The video would be produced as a part of Communications staff functions without direct cost to the Historical Society. If the committee wishes to reproduce additional videos for sale or other uses, there would be a reproduction fee. Foote brought an example of a card received from the city of Woodbury, it was discussed that we may be able to do something similar using the committee’s general print fund. Discussion was had on what the focal point should be for the 2010 historical marker. There is $500.00 allocated from the 2009 budget for signage.
