The district's stance is that we are okay with you attaching to our fence as long as you understand that if there ever needs to be repairs made to our fence,your fence may need to be detached at no cost to the district. The district also will let you attach as long as there is no cost to the district. Any damage to our fence while connecting your fence would be repaired by you and at no cost to the district. I own the house at 2108 Garnet Lane,Eagan,MN 55122 and we are hoping to install a fence. Burnsville Alternative High School is on the other side of our yard,and due to an Xcel energy easement,the school's fence is set roughly 5 feet off the school's property line. In order to obtain a zoning permit from the City of Eagan to build the fence,we need permission to run our fence up to the school's fence through the easement. We are working with Xcel and ISO 191 to get this permission. Our fence would run perpendicular to the school's existing fence. Let me know what information you need in order to move this forward.
