Good Morning,
I am in receipt of your zoning permit application for a shed.
Due to the shed being greater than 120 SF, it must match your existing home in relation to roof pitch,building
material and color. Please see the attached handout and provide me with the specifications to ensure these
requirements are met.
Additionally, your property is located within the Shoreland Overlay District of Hay Lake. Because of this, you
can have a maximum hardcover of 25%on your property. I have calculated your driveway,home, garage, 4
season porch and the proposed shed. These calculations put you at 23%which is allowed,but approaching the
maximum. Please let me know if there is other hardcover on the property that should be calculated such as a

patio and/or sidewalks. If you'd like to provide the figures for the items I mentioned above, I can rerun the
numbers.
