Those present were: Klein, Knight, Polzin, Rosene, Bolke and Hauge. Mir. Don Christenson met with the Assessment Committee requesting a recommendation from the Assessment Committee as to whether his property lying East of Pilot Knob Road would be assessed for street improvements for Crestridge ?ane on the North side of the Christenson property for Project No. 90. After discussion, the Assessment Committee decided it would like to view the property and review the matter at the next meeting. Mr. Kenneth Hassler appeared objecting to the assessments for sanitarl sewer and water on his lot in Blackhawk Acres lying I•lest of Blackhawk Road. It was determined that the Assessment Committee would look at the property and again review the matter at the next Assessment Committee meeting. The Committee next reviewed the proposed agreement with WPBC with a grant of a sanitary sewer easement on the West line of the WPBC property South of Cliff Road. It was recommended that $2,000.00 per net acre of permanent easement be paid, that the Town reimburse WPBC for the actual costs incurred for labor and materials and the removal of a copper ground wire system, that in the event that WPBC goes out of phase due to the installation of sanitary sewer that the Town would reimburse WPBC for the expense in rephasing the system, and in the event that the WPBC property is developed in the future and desires to hook up to the sanitary sewer system that the property be assessed for lateral purposes on the basis of the amount of land used rather than on the basis of the entire parcel if less than the entire parcel is developed. The easements to be acquired from Mr. Gary Grundstrom and Mr. Peter Ince on Blackhawk Road as a part of Project.#69 were next reviewed. Upon motion by Polzin and seconded by Knight, it was recommended that each of them be reimbursed for the grant of the easements on the basis of $1.00 per lineal foot. After review, the Assessment Committee recommended that a letter be sent to Mr. William Muskie of Muskie-Tansey Real Estate Company that any lowering of the sanitary sewer line near Coachman Road on the North side of Yankee Doodle Road and parallel to Yankee Doodle Road be paid by the Town in the event that the grade of Yankee Doodle is changed. The Committee then discussed the proposed change in the alignment of the sanitary sewer interceptor running South on Rahn Road to Cliff Road around the Alex Burow property. The Town Engineer indicated that the additional cost in running around the property as opposed to having to go through the Burow land would amount to about $3,000.00 and recommended that the change be adopted. Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was recommended that the Board adopt the change in alignment for Project #64. The next meeting of the Committee was scheduled tentatively for February 8th at 5:00 P.M. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Dated: January 25, 1972 -2-
