RUNKLE, CITY PLANNER DATE: SEPTEMBER 18, 1980 SUBJECT: PLANNING CO4MAISSION AGENDA ITIDAS FOR THE SEPTE1.43ER 23, 1980 PLANNING COPMAISSION MEETING Agenda item A and B under Public Hearings, Lexington Standard Corporation, had informed the City on September 17, 1980, that they are requesting to withdraw their application for a conditional use permit for outside storage and a prelimi- nary plat on Lot 6, Eagandale Center Industrial Park #2. They informed the City staff that their plans for expansion to this new.facility has been delayed one year and instead of starting construction next spring, they would be starting construction in 1982. Therefore, they have withdrawn their application at this time and will resubmit their application sometime in 1981. I have sent letters to all people that were noticed stating that the applicant has withdrawn their application, therefore, no public hearing will be held on September 23•. Agenda Item 3, Zachman Homes, Inc. In reviewing the application for Zachman Homes for a waiver of plat to subdivide 17 lots, staff reviewed the application and within the two plats which have been recorded, there would be 14 twin home lots rather than the 17. The reduction of lot splits have been reduced from 17 to the 14 at this time. when the Cedar Cliff 2nd Addition is platted, there will be three additional lot splits at that time. Agenda Item 10 under Other Business Blue Cross -Blue Shield has submitted an over -view of the 100 -plus acres they own on the southeast side of Blue Cross Road. These exhibits have been included in this packet and people from Architectural Alliance and Blue Cross -Blue Shield will be present to go over their proposed land use and site design with the Advisory Planning Commission on September 23, 1980. This is only an informal review, and. the applicant is only looking for input to their planning at this time. If you have any other questions regarding any of the agenda items, please feel free to contact me at the Eagan City Hall: Sincerely, Dale C.
