Those present were knight, Polzin, Rosene, Boli:e and Hauge. Klein was absent.
The town attorney discussed the acquisition of easements on Elrene Road.
After considerable discussion concerning the difficulty of acquiring the easement -
on several of the parcels and upon motion made by Polzin seconded by Knight it
was recommended that the Town Attorney be authorized to proceed with condem-
nation to acquire the easements if necessary.
The committee next discussed easement acquisitions concerning the sanitary
sewer trunk around Fish Lake. The proposed agreement concerning the Don
Christenson property was discussed and upon motion by Knight seconded by Polzin
it was recommended that the proposed agreement be submitted to Mr. Christenson
concerning loss of trees due to the installation of the sewer interceptor.
The Committee next discussed the water assessment issues concerning
Cedarvale Shopping Center. The question whether there should be minimum charges
for water area assessments was reviewed. It was recommended that the area
assessment be levied under the current practice.
The Cooperative Power Assn. water main assessment for oversizing purposes
on a five acre parcel on Hwy.#31 was next discussed. It was recommended that
the property be assessed for water main oversizing and further that a 30 ft.
easement along the South boundary of their property be acquired for read purposes.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned with the understanding that a meeting be
scheduled for June 22, 1971 at 6:30 P.M.
