08/10/1971 - City Council Regular0 MINUTES OF MEETING OF ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE TOWN OF EAGAN, DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA August 10, 1971 The Assessment Committee of the Town of Eagan, Dakota County, Minnesota met at 7:00 o'clock p.m, at the Town Hall.. Those present were Polzin, Knight, Rosene, Bolke, Goers and Hoey. Klein was absent. The Town Engineer first reviewed the basis for the assessment computation for the areas which will be assessed pursuant to the Cedar Grove Acquisition assessment hearing on August 31, 1971. Upon completion of his general explanation the Town Engineer reviewed the following specific parcels with the committee and his recommendations for preparation of the assessment roll: Cedar Grove Elementary School; Lot 19 and the Skelly site in Cedar Grove No. 2; the Standard and Phillips Oil Station sites near Cedar Avenue and Highway No. 13; Lots 1-4, Block 8, Cedar Grove No. 3; Outlot 1, Block 8, Cedar Grove No. 5; Mount Calvary Lutheran Church; Peace Reform Church. After discussion of the recommendations of the Town Engineer and upon motion by Polzin and seconded by Knight it was recommended that the assessment roll be prepared in accordance with the suggestions of the Town Engineer. Upon motlon the meeting waa adjourned.
