08/31/1971 - City Council Regular0 MINUTES OF METING OF ASSESSMENT COMI9ITTEE TOWN OF EAGAN, DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA August 31, 1971 Those present were: Polzin, Klein, Rosene, Bolke, Goers and Hauge. Knight was absent. The Co®ittee reviewed certain parcels for assessment purposes scheduled for assessment hearing for September 14. The Committee first reviewed the Shindeldecker property on Highway 55. It was indicated that the sanitary sewer trunk running through the property would be used for lateral purposes and in addition a water lateral assessment would be charged against the property. It was determined that one side of the sanitary sewer trunk as laid out across the property would be assessed and also that Lot 2, Lot 3 and the McLean property would be assessed for sanitary sewer purposes. Upon motion by Polzin and seconded by Klein, it was recommended that the foregoing assessments be approved. The Committee then reviewed numerous odd shaped parcels in the Country Home Heights Addition area for sewer and water assessment purposes. It was noted that the sewer and water costs in Project 499 would be $14.35 a front foot. The Assessment Committee recommended 125 foot minimum with 225 foot maximum in Country Home Heights Addition. It was determined that a meeting of the Assessment Committee again be held at 6:30 P.M. on September 7, 1971 at the Town Hall to continue to re- view the assessment problems. . Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
