As the factory authorized trainer for Amana residential equipment I will allow this application to be
closer to what the minimum requirements for proper clearances as stated in the Installation Manual, as
long as 2 of 4 sides of the condenser have wide open clearances more than 24" clearance for proper
operation of system. The suggested minimum clearances of 10" described in the installation manual is
dedicated for the ease of service, in some applications that is impossible for 10" on all sides. We see this
in townhomes, deck installs and wall brackets.
