A workshop meeting of the Advisory Parks & Recreation Commission (APrC) began at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday, December 18, 2017 and concluded at 8:02 p.m. Commission Members present included
Member Michael Palmer, Member Dorothy Peterson, Member Nathan Neuman, Member Jerry Farlee,
Member Molly Schuetzle, Member Aileen Hough and Member Linda Klein. Absent member included
Member Anne Weber -Smith. Staff members present Parks and Recreation Director Andrew Pimental,
Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Jared Flewellen and Parks Superintendent Paul Graham.
Workshop agenda included discussion of the renovation to Bridal Ridge Park building, Capital
Improvement Projects update and Department Highlights.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Member Peterson asked Director Pimental if there were any changes to the agenda. Director Pimental
stated there were no changes. Member Klein moved, Member Neuman seconded, with all members
present voting to adopt the agenda as presented. Aye: 6 (Palmer absent) Nay: 0
APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
Member Klein moved, Member Hough seconded, with all present members voting in favor to approve
the minutes of the November 20, 2017 regular meeting, as presented. Aye: 6 (Palmer absent) Nay: 0
NEW BUSINESS
Bridle Ridge Park Building
Parks Superintendent Paul Graham toured the Bridle Ridge Park Building project and provided details
and insight on the different aspects of the construction process. The building has received the
certificate of occupancy and will have the ribbon cutting event on January 4th at 10:00 a.m.
STAFF REPORTS
CIP Projects
Director Pimental presented updates on the 2018 Capital Improvement Projects and reiterated that
the city website is the best place to find the most updated information on each project.
Department Highlights
Director Pimental presented Department Highlights from recent activities in the Eagan Parks and
Recreation Department.

ROUNDTABLE
Member Hough expressed her excitement for the attendance to recent events.
Member Klein detailed the attendance and turnout to the Old Fashioned Holiday event.
Member Neuman talked about the quality of the renovation at the Bridle Ridge Park building.
Member Palmer expressed his interested into future Capital Improvement Projects.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, Member Peterson moved, Member Hough seconded with all
members present voting to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
