• The purpose of this meeting is for the Communications Committee to meet with
Decision Resources and review the topical areas covered by the 2005
Community-Wide Survey
• Decision Resources and staff seek to understand if any topical areas are missing
that would help guide the City Council’s work or inform its goals for 2005/2006.
• Per Council direction at its goals retreat, the Communications Committee wishes
to focus on the topics that are new to the survey and not the standard tracking and
comparative questions asked in every survey

• Like most about living in Eagan
• Most serious issue (open-ended)

• Too many/too few amenities

• Quality & Appearance of shopping areas

• Public safety priorities

• Recycling issues
• Parks, recreation & facilities usage

• Newsletter, cable, & Internet questions
• Standard demographic questions (age, gender, type of home, children, etc.)
