MINUTES OF MEETING OF DECEMBER 10, 2019
A regular meeting of the Eagan Energy and Environment Advisory Commission (EEAC) was held on Tuesday,
December 10, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Eagan City Hall. Those present were Member Fleenor, Member Dugan,
Member Supina, Member Ziese, Member Miller, Member Timmons, Member Baker and Member Trzpuc. Staff
members present were Director of Parks and Recreation Andrew Pimental and Assistant Director of Parks and
Recreation Jared Flewellen.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Member Fleenor asked if there were any changes to the agenda. Assistant Director Flewellen stated there were
none. Member Trzpuc moved, Member Baker seconded, with all present members voting in favor to adopt the
agenda with changes. Aye: 7 Nay: 0
APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
Member Supina moved to approve the minutes from September 10, 2019 meeting, Member Miller seconded,
with all present members voting in favor to adopt the minutes presented. Aye: 7 Nay: 0
VISITORS TO BE HEARD
Tom Luse presented information on the importance of renewable energy usage.
PRESENTATIONS
Eagan Robotics
Two robotics teams from the Eagan schools presented their robot and the process to build it. LIKWID FTC
demonstrated first and LEGO Superstars presented second. Both robots showed great skill and development
techniques.

Water Conservation
Eagan Superintendent of Utilities, Jon Eaton presented on the efforts Eagan is taking to reduce water usage in
commercial and residential properties. Eaton also presented different rebate programs available through the
City of Eagan to reduce the cost of new efficient appliances.
DEPARTMENT UPDATES
Director Pimental presented highlights from recent activities in the Eagan Parks and Recreation Department.
ADJOURNMENT
After further brief discussion, Member Timmons moved, Member Supina seconded with all members present
voting in favor to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 8:27 p.m.
