MEETING MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 16, 2019
A regular meeting of the Advisory Parks & Recreation Commission (APrC) began at 6:30 p.m.
on Monday, September 16, 2019. Commission Members present included Member Palmer,
Member McWilliams,, Member Klein, Member Moore, Member Pagey, Member Hough and
Member Schuetzle. Member Rayman was absent. Staff members present Parks and
Recreation Director Andrew Pimental, Recreation Superintendent Paul Graham and Assistant
Parks and Recreation Director Jared Flewellen.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Member Klein asked Director Pimental if there were any changes to the agenda. Director
Pimental stated there were no changes. Member Hough moved, Member Schuetzle
seconded, with all members present voting to adopt the agenda as presented. Aye: 7 Nay:

APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
Member Hough moved, Member Schuetzle seconded, with all present members voting in favor
to approve the minutes of the June 17, 2019 meeting, as presented. Aye: 7 Nay: 0
Member McWilliams moved, Member Hough seconded, with all present members voting in
favor to approve the minutes of the July 15, 2019 meeting, as presented. Aye: 7 Nay: 0
Member Schuetzle moved, Member Palmer seconded, with all present members voting in
favor to approve the minutes of the August 19, 2019 meeting, with corrections presented by
Member Klein. Aye: 7 Nay: 0

OLD BUSINESS
2020 - 2024 CIP Discussion
Director Pimental presented and discussed Capital Improvement projects proposed for the
years 2020 through 2024. These projects were outlined for each year and would be finded
through the Parks and Recreation Park Dedication Fund.
NEW BUSINESS
2020 Fees
Assistant Director Flewellen presented and discussed the 2020 Parks and Recreation Fee
Schedule. Flewellen highlighted some of the proposed fee changes for both general fund and
enterprise fund budgets.
STAFF REPORTS
Department Highlights
Director Pimental presented Department Highlights from recent activities in the Eagan Parks
and Recreation Department.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, Member Pagey moved, Member Hough seconded with all
members present voting to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
