Property pins/monuments must be exposed prior to day of installation. All property lines must be marked and deared of all brush, tree limbs, etc. within a 3 foot radius. All private utilities must be marked. Manv cities require a permit before constructing a fence. Check with your local planning office or zoning department for more information. You are responsible to pull your own permit if required by the city. We will provide the sketch and can assist with your permit paperwork if need be. If an inspection is required by the city, you are responsible to arrange thefts' inspection. Also, keep your property pins exposed until this is completed. L. 2.) We take care of getting the Public utilities marked prior to installation. (Please note: We are not responsible for utility damage due to incorrect locate markings by Gopher One or their contractors.) GopherOne only marks the public utilities that are buried when the home was originally built They do not mark private facilities which include: natural gas farm taps, natural gas or propane gas underground piping to buildings, gas grills and pool heaters, private water systems, data communication lines, underground sprinkler systems, invisible fences, etc. If you have a question on whether a facility in your excavation area is considered private or not, please contact that local utility office. We are not responsible for private facility damage including sprinkler systems, detached garages, drain tile, septic and well systems and underground pool equipment, etc. If you have a detached garage, you may have a private utility line going out to it from your home. If you have your yard marked and do not see any utility markings shown between your home and your detached garage, this is a red flag you may have a private utility here. If you have any questions regarding this, please refer to Gopher One Call Private Facility hand-out. Please contact us for a list of private utility locators. 3.) Northland Fence requires the customer to identify and expose their property lines by locating the buried property pins/markers. Most pins can be located by renting a metal detector from a local hardware store. When renting, mention you're looking for the buried pins so they give you the proper tool. If you're still having troubles you may need to hire a local land surveyor. We can arrange this service for an additional charge, if needed. If you fail to expose your aoosrtv ohm. we will pup our crew from the lob until the Property pins are located and mood. You WI be rescheduled on our next *warble day which could be months out L 4.) All fence lines must be cleared prior to installation. If you have trees, brush or other debris in the proposed fence line, please make sure this is removed prior to your installation date to make the installation run smoothly. The crew will need ample space to work in. If you fail to dear your property lines prior to installation we will pull our crew from the job until they are cleared. You will be rescheduled on our next available day. We will clear snow if it is in the way. 5.) Installation time frames. The driving crew will start driving your posts on day 1. This can sometimes take two days depending on weather conditions, size of your project, and your soil type. If we do not complete driving the posts in one day, we will be back shortly after to complete this part of the installation. (Usually within 1 week, weather permitting.) You only have to be home on the first day of the post driving portion, not any other follow up days. (Please note: This does not include custom gates. Custom gates are special ordered once the posts are driven and can take from 3-4 weeks to come in) �J 6.) Our return dates are not consecutive or prescheduled. We schedule around other projects and weather. The return timeframe is up b 4 weeks, start to finish in the spring and summer months, weather permitting. 7.) All 6' ornamental steel posts are set in concrete and all vinyl privacy and ornamental fence hinge posts are set in concrete. We do not take dirt away with u , but the crew will put the dirt where you'd like it. Many customers request the dirt be put under a deck or in a garden or landscaping area. 8.) Please be sure to have access to water and power on the day of installation. 9.) We will do our best to keep your installation date on schedule. However, it is possible your project could be delayed due to weather related issues. Our installation schedule is weather permitting. (Weather issues prior to your installation date may impact your installation start date. You will be notified of any delays.) 10.) We require the homeowner to be home to meet with the crew on the first day of installation. Please be available by phone if you have to leave the property. If you are not home to meet with the crew on the day of your installation, we will pull the crew from your job. You will be rescheduled on our first available which could be at the end of our calendar. 11.) Cancellations are subject to 10% cancellation fee. However, you have 3 business days to cancel with 100% refund.
