Brian – Here is an example of a Declaration the City has accepted on another project. We will ask our City Attorney to review the document, which will require us to secure a small escrow
amount to cover the fees charged by the City Attorney (City of Eagan, like many Twin Cities communities, contracts with a private attorney’s office for legal services, they bill the
City with each service provided). I’ll check with the Attorney what that amount will be, but likely around $200.

Brian – I’m reaching out regarding your email and the two lots on Cleome.
I see the survey provides for the driveway easement for the northly lot. My very basic understanding of property law is that someone cannot grant themselves an easement (assuming same
ownership until time of sale), have you experienced a similar situation? I’m willing to talk to our City Attorney, but willing to make arrangements to have the easement recorded at
the time of sale of either of the lots.
