MINUTES OF MEETING OF FEBRUARY 18, 2022
A regular meeting of the Advisory Parks & Recreation Commission (APrC) began at 7:00 p.m. on Monday,
February 28, 2022 at Eagan City Hall. Commission Members present included Member Klein, Member Rayman,
Member Schuetzle, Member Hough, and Member Palmer. Member Moore, Member McWilliams and Member
Jacobs were absent. Staff members present Parks and Recreation Director Andrew Pimental, Recreation
Manager Tanya Mozingo and Assistant Parks and Recreation Director Jared Flewellen.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Member Klein asked if there were any changes to the agenda. Director Pimental stated there were none.
Member Schuetzle moved, Member Palmer seconded, with all present members voting in favor to adopt the
agenda with changes. Aye: 5 Nay: 0
APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES
Member Schuetzle moved to approve the minutes from February 28, 2022 meeting, Member Palmer seconded,
with all present members voting in favor to adopt the minutes presented. Aye: 5 Nay: 0
VISITORS TO BE HEARD
John Fast – 1415 Oster Drive – Expressed his concern for no “Class C” outdoor skating rink at Highview Park.
Commission and staff will discuss further for consideration in 2022-23.
NEW BUSINESS
Recreation Data
Recreation Manager Tanya Mozingo and Assistant Director Flewellen presented demographic and usage data
from Recreation Results that analyzed the RecTrac Software database. Data showed trends in participation for
different recreational categories as well as who was participating in our activities.

DEPARTMENT UPDATES
Director Pimental presented highlights from recent activities in the Eagan Parks and Recreation Department.
ADJOURNMENT
After further brief discussion, Member Schuetzle moved, Member Hough seconded with all members present
voting in favor to adjourn the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
