The graphic shows that the surveyor found the property corners, so I assume they staked the new corners (but have not
verified). My understanding is they were going to install the new fence in the same location (or really close) as the
existing fence, so that would put them entirely within the new boundaries. I discussed this with Mike and we decided
not to make them re‐plat to combine into 1 lot. Please sign off for me with a condition that the fence is installed in a
D/U easement and is subject to the terms of the easement.

Aaron,
This fence permit is for the property that just went through a ROW Vacation (July 5th CC meeting). It looks this fence
permit does align with the new vacated ROW boundaries and otherwise meets zoning standards. Also, do you know if
the boundaries of the ROW vacation were staked so new property boundary is evident for the fence company? Per the
graphic and legal description provided for the vacation, it doesn’t look like it.
The City kept d/u easement over the vacated portion, so this fence will be in a d/u easement where utilities are present.
Please review and make any pertinent notes on the Zoning Permit.
Do they need to replat or do some sort of lot combination to incorporate the vacated ROW into their lot? And how do
we make sure that’s done before issuing the fence permit? It doesn’t show up on MapIt yet. I didn’t see any reference
to requiring a plat in the CC packet for the Vacation, but we can’t approve a ZP until we have confirmation that they own
the vacated portion.
