Thanks to Annette - I have figured out which Richard Kennealy these are about ...
Also I was researching the history of Burnsville School District 94 - and these were on same page of
the Dakota County Tribune.
Thomas and Mary (FOUNDERS Came from Ireland) - Richard (their son) and Catherine - their son
Richard (1870 - 1921) making him Tommy's uncle
March 7 - Richard Kennealy RENTS farm to Jim Scott - he plans to move to St. Paul to engage in
business...
Same article a Nellie Kennealy is sick
March 28 - Auction has taken place - Jim Scott now at home there...
The reference to Michael Kennealy (1841 - 1914) from Graceville visiting is brother of your Richard
and my Walter and St. Paul's James Kenaley.
Toward bottom of article note man from Rosemount escapes injury on way to Kennealy sale.. and article
ends with Jim Scott buying cattle.
It seems this is the farm/land settled by founders Thomas and Mary when they came from Ireland around
1853.
A while back I sent you the probate record of Thomas #1 - who died in 1863 but there was no official
probate until 1903 - which seems to confirm my theory they didn't bother with paperwork until trying to
sell the farm.
For non-Eagan's reading this - the farm was in Eagan MN on property which is now Lebanon Hills Park.
