John Corcoran, son of John Cor-
coran of Ewan Town, -while in the j
employ of the St. Paul Electric',
Light company, received injuries'
by falling from a pole .at "3d and
kobert streets, St. Pahl, July 15,
from which he died four hours later.
l4lr. Corcoran was in the employ
of the company for over a year and,
was considered one of the hest line
men on the force. At the time of
the accident he was repairing a'
wire on top of the pole, when he
accidentally touched a live wire and
was thrown violent( to the ~round.
He was eery badly mangled. He
ryas at once taken to St. Joseph's
hospital, where it was found that
both legs were broken, his nose and
a number of small bones fractured.
He died at 9.45 p. m. the. same ev-
ening. Hisremains were taken to
his father's home at Ewan Town.
John Corcoran was 28 years of
age, unmarried, a young man of
very good habits and well liked by
all who knew him. He will be sadly
missed by his many companions.
He leaves to mourn hicn a father
and mother; one sister, Airs. ND-
chael Devitt of St. Paul, and three
brothors, Patrick CorcorAtt of Eag-
an Town, M. J. and Win. Corcoran,
of this place. All have the sympa-'
thy of the entire cknnmunrty in
their sad bereavement.
The funeral was held Thursday
from St. Joseph's church and was
largely attended by friends from
.Nlinneapolis, St. Paul and the sur-
rounding towns in this county.
