Mrs. Oshiro said the dis-

said.
"These schools are part of
our continuing program to
plan for needs in the dis-
trict," Mrs. Oshiro said. ``We
have opened a new school or
addition every year except
one since 1956. If we hadn't
done this, we would be be-
hind in facilities no«r.''
The planning funds, $175,-
000, are expected to be used
mainly for new programs at
Burnsville High School, Mrs.
Oshiro said.
Mrs. Oshi1•o said the own-
er of an $18,000 home eligible
for homestead exemption
will pay $10.80 a year extra
in school taxes if the bond is-
sue passes. The additional
tax on a $27,000 home, she
said, would be $18.
