WORKSHOP MINUTES OF October 17, 2016
A workshop meeting of the Advisory Parks & Recreation Commission (APrC) began at 6:00 p.m. on
Monday, October 17, 2016 and concluded at 7:46 p.m. Commission Members present included
Member Dorothy Peterson, Member Andrea Todd -Harlin, Member Linda Klein and Member Jerry
Farlee. Member Michael Palmer, Member David Wietecki, Member Aileen Hough, Member Nathan
Neuman was absent. Staff members present Director of Parks and Recreation Andrew Pimental and
Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation Jared Flewellen.
Director Andrew Pimental discussed fees and charges for the Parks and Recreation Department.
Director Pimental provided analysis of the different types of fees used for programs, facilities and
memberships to the Commission. The Commission provided feedback on opportunities for further
consistency across department fees.
Director Pimental expressed the willingness to present fees at a future meeting early in the 2017
budget process.
