Freestanding Signs exceeding 7 feet in height require a Commercial Building Permit.

As previously discussed via email,we are looking at adding dimensional non-illuminated flat cut out
aluminum letters with stand-off wall mounts for additional depth (see attached images for examples)at
our new location of 1675 Meadow View Rd Suite 400.This office/warehouse location for our team
members isn't a storefront, so we do not have a need for a lit sign. Could you provide us with a letter of
acknowledgement that future building tenants for non-lit signs will match this flat cut out aluminum
design?The City of Eagan has requested this letter for us to be able to move forward with required
permit approval.

Hi Joe,
I am hoping there is something can be done here to obtain permit approval.
The flat cut out aluminum letters will have depth and are dimensional.They are approximately 1/2"deep.
We can projection mount these as well,so they are stood off from the wall for added depth and
dimensionality.
Would this be acceptable?
