A Special City Council meeting was held on Tuesday, January 23, at 5:00 p.m. at the Eagan Community
Center. Present were Mayor Maguire, Councilmembers Bakken, Fields, Hansen and Supina. Also present:
City Administrator Miller, Assistant City Administrator Alig, and Assistant to the City Administrator
Sullivan.
I.ROLL CALL AND ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA
The meeting commenced at 5:00pm.
II.VISITORS TO BE HEARD
There were no visitors to be heard.
III.2024 WORK PLAN
The Council discussed the 2024 Work Plan as it pertains to Race Equity & Inclusion Phase II including a
possible Juneteenth event and a series of Community Conversations. Also discussed were modifications
to the policy and procedures regarding Advisory Commissions with a goal of making the commissions
more inclusive of Eagan’s diverse population. The Council also discussed governance and youth
engagement.
IV.OTHER BUSINESS
There was no other business.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:55pm.
